Sims Freeplay : Lunar New Year 2015 [Time limit 7 days]

Lunar New Year 2015 is coming soon. It is on Feb 19th. 2015 is the year of sheep/goat. So, Sims Freeplay is preparing for the lunar new year 2015. 

It is, of course, limited time quest - 7 days. The quest doesn't take long to complete. So get cracking.

1st Day - 14th Feb 2015       LION DANCERS

 

1. Visit the park to watch lion dancer performance. 
2. Cheer for the lion dancers - 1 hr 10 mins 
3. Discus LUNAR new year with another sim - 1 min
4. Buy a classic cupboard (counter tops section ) 
5. Sweep the house - 3hrs 30 mins 
6. Again cheer for the lion dancers - 3 mins 



The lion will give you a coloured packet. I got RED packet!




 2nd Day- 15th Feb      DINNER

1. Get a sim to ask about red packet to another sim - 1 min 
2. Have 3 Sims to cheer Lion Dancers in park - 10 mins 
3. Call Mom on a phone ~ 1 min 
4. Grow Onion - 7 hrs 
5. Go fishing and Settle in as fishing - 9 hrs  


3rd Day - 16th Feb        DESSERT & INVITATIONS

1. Bake Chocolate Pudding ~ 2 hrs
2. Search for 'Cookies that Sims love' on a computer ~ 4 mins 30 sec
3. Read Cookie recipe book from a bookshelf ~ 12 mins
4. Bake Cookies in a stove - 1 min 
5. Send out invitations on a computer - 4 mins 
6. Invite family by phone - 3 hrs 30 mins


4th Day - 17th Feb       RED PACKETS

Find 12 RED packets
Visit Park > Cheer Lion Dancers - 10 mins
* Note : You can send upto 8 sims to cheer up and speed up the process. 



5th Day - 18th Feb     Sim-eating PLANT

1. Contemplate on a Couch - 5 mins
2. Use SIMbook on a computer - 14 mins 
3. Read private message on a computer - 7 mins 12 secs 
4. Grow and Harvest Watermelons - 1 hr and S22
5. Ask a sim-eating plant about the guest list - 8 mins 
6. Dance for the sim-eating plant - 8 hrs 30 mins
7. Invite Final Guest on a phone - 10 mins  



6th Day - 19th Feb RED LANTERNS

1. Invite Final guest on a phone - 10 mins
2. Find 8 Red packets (Cheer Lion Dancer at Park) - 10 mins 
3. Sweep Floor with a Broom (Cupboard) -3 hrs 30 mins
4. Red 2 Red Lanterns - S4000
5. Have 2 sims sweeping floors - 3 hrs 30 mins (Just making 2 sims sweep will be enough to complete this task) 0 hr

7th Day - 20th Feb      CELEBRATION

1. Have 4 sims in a house
2. Cook REUNION dinner - 10 hrs
3. Call Sims to Meal - 10 mins 
4. Exchange RED packets - 1 min



Congratulations!! The quest is complete now.  Now you can get your Lion-Dance Costume at Home store > Decorations.  For only 60 LPs  !!!!!!  ^^;

Just like Catwalk modelling hobby, there is only one activity to do. The good thing is that you can put 4 of your sims for the task. Easier to complete the collection.

Besides bowling, you can also :

Sims Freeplay has added some glamour into this game. It is a nice move. However, there is only one action you can do, which is like 10 hours long. It can take a while to complete the collection. It would be nice if there was another action that takes shorter time.

Strut your Stuff - 10 hrs 30 mins

There are 6 different stages of this hobby. They are:

1. Face planter
2. Two right feet
3. Mover and Faker
4. The Walk
5. The Look
6. Blue Steel

When the collection is complete, the Bowling Alley will become available at the Sunset Mall. Though you won't be able to access the bowling hobby until you reach Mall area 5: Strut Avenue.

5. Summon courage: tap on a couch - 15 hrs 30 mins

7. Send two sims to the mall 

8. Investigate the strange noise - 10 hours 30 mins
    Boxes near the escalator

9. Introduce your sim to the robot -10 mins

10. Have two sims watch the news - 4 mins

11. Ask another sim to return to the mall - 2 hrs 30 mins

12. Remind sim about shopping - 3hrs 30 mins

13. Watch self-defence on TV - 12 hrs 30 mins 

14. Send two sims to the park 

15. Have a sim go running / Tap the park statue and go running - 11 hrs 30 mins
